Hey Neighbors, I think we're all aware that the 30th anniversary of the South Canyon Fire was this past weekend, but I think a shout out to Bob Richardson, Gail Shannon, Margie Crow, Lynette and Delton Cerise, and other neighbors for the countless hours they spent working on the Storm King memorial getting it ready for visitors and family members of the firefighters. I think we can all agree that it looks amazing.
A couple of our local news outlets also ran stories on the people coming back to visit:
Aspen Public Radio:
30 years later, survivors remember the Storm King 14, the fire’s legacy
Post Independent:
Families celebrate the lives of the Storm King 14, make 30th anniversary pilgrimage to Glenwood Springs
