Canyon Creek Water Tower Construction is Complete!

On Wednesday August 4, our new 90,000 gallon water storage tank was filled, passed all bacteria tests, and formally became the newest member of our Water System. It consists of new main water piping, concrete foundation, and 21 ft high by 28 ft diameter glass-lined steel tank. It was manufactured by the same company that built our existing 50,000 gallon tank 35 years ago. With our new tank we will have 140,000 gallons of storage, which should eliminate our water shortages we have had during the summer. Additionally, as the need arises to clean or repair our old tank, we now have the ability to empty it while inspections and/or repairs are made.
